DYI ARDUINO SHIELDS

Shields
Shields are boards that can be plugged on top of the Arduino PCB extending its capabilities. The different shields follow the same philosophy as the original toolkit: they are easy to mount, and cheap to produce.

Arduino shields are very useful when it comes to tinkering around. There are many types you can make and or buy. I chose make that way I could make things that I could use with my projects.  The following is some of the shields I have put together.
If your like me then there comes a point when you decide hey lemme make my own shields.

The Arduino custom speaker shield

This shield is fairly easy to construct and its uses are wide. You can easily plug it in your arduino upload a sketch and have it talking or playing tunes quick time. For me I used it with a ping sensor to detect when someone was nearby. When approached it would speak. You know you wanna build that.

Parts Required:

Speaker
PCB Board
Pins to be able to plug into arduino
A resistor I used

Very simple build attaching the positive end of speaker to resistor and resistor to pin. Negative end of speaker to pin.
Easy peasy now plug it in.

stay tuned for arduino shields
